Booking Policy

Please note a $25 deposit is required to book! The deposit will be credited towards your selected service, and the remaning balance will be charged after your session.

Your deposit is fully refundable if you cancel within 24 hrs of your scheduled session. If you do not cancel within the required time frame your deposit will not be refunded, except for emergency situations.

Pay What You Can Services (PWYC)

PWYC services is a type of sliding scale where you pay what you can for the services offered. If you are able to pay the full amount, you're helping to make reduced cost services possible for others! If you can't pay the full amount, you can choose to pay less.

Not sure where you fall? If you make less $25,000 a  year, or are experiencing financial hardship i.e., loss of job or income, unexpected medical or legal fees, recently became a primary caregiver, etc. then PWYC is for you.

Trade Based Services

Money is fake and it would be nice if we didn't have to use it. That being said, it is a material reality for all of us – especially small business owners. If you have a skill (painter, carpenter, dog walker, room organizer, etc) please contact the clinic at monasa.massage@proton.me with the service you'd like and the proposed trade. Please note trades are not always possible, and are based on availability. 

Accessibility & COVID Information

Monasa Massage is located within a shared building that houses multiple practicioners. The main entrance is located on street level, and has two stairs to get into the building. The restroom is located on the 2nd floor, and is up one flight of stairs. The massage space is located in the lower level, and has an accessible entrance. Depending on client load at the space, it might be necessary to walk around the building from the street level to the lower level entrance.

To make services more accessible I wear an KN95 mask during all sessions, but do not require clients to mask. An air purifier will also be running in the massage space. Masks are also available upon request. If you have any accessibility questions or concerns, please contact the clinic at monasa.massage@proton.me.

Intake Forms

All new clients will be asked to fill out the following intake form prior to their session, and will receive the form after booking. If you are unable to complete prior to your session that's okay, please arrive 15 minutes early to your session to complete. If you need assistance filling out your intake form, please arrive early as well and we can complete it together.
